Camping in Solitude and Quiet Nestled in the heart of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Pioneer RV Park in Quincy, California is beautifully situated in a relaxed, natural setting with shady trees and the quiet of the countryside. The park is located between Lassen National Park and the lovely Lake Tahoe, and Reno, Nevada is only 70 miles east. You will be sheltered from hectic noise, so you can truly kick back and relax. Pioneer RV Park offers large and shady RV sites, and all include full hook-ups including water, sewer, and 20, 30, & 50 amp electric service. Satellite TV with great reception is also available. Most sites have a picnic table. You will also appreciate the clean and modern comfort facilities.
Pioneer RV Park features all the fun camping activities you expect from a full service RV Park. There is a recreation room with ping pong and television, as well as old-fashioned horseshoes, or gather friends and family for some frisbee or football. The park is directly next to a large Olympic-sized swimming pool, as well as a county park with a playground and skatepark, so there are plenty of things to entertain kids of all ages. There are also picnic areas and group areas for an outdoor meal.
Pioneer RV Park is near Feather River and Bucks Lake, offering visitors excellent opportunities for boating, swimming, and fishing. The area also offers hiking and biking trails, including the 80 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail. In nearby Graeagle are six golf courses, ranging from novice to championship courses. The Quincy area offers an Arts & Crafts Fair, the Plumas Sierra County Fair, auto racing, the Mountain Harvest Festival, High Sierra Music Festival, the Quincy Main Street Sparkle, Old Fashioned County Picnic and Car Show, the Joshua Festival, a Solar Chili Cookoff, quilt shows, Railroad Days and a weekly Farmer's Market during the summer.
