Snowshoe Lodge

Join us every season of the year to go back in history and feel the peace and beauty of the Colorado Mountains. We are located in the Rio Grande National Forest, 45 miles from the Wolf Creek Ski area. The headwaters of the Rio Grande, lakes, and many streams provide a fisherman's heaven.

This eighteen unit lodge hosted the famous John Wayne, and Dan Blocker (Hoss), in the six original units built in 1972, which have been newly remodeled. Two separate modern units offer kitchenette. Laundry facilities and rental showers are available for hunters and hikers. Four handicap accessible units were built in 2000.

All units offer cleanliness, cable TV, phones, tub/shower combination, and street level access. Some units can accommodate pets. Two bedrooms in the hundred-year-old part of the house are available for the B & B.
