CHOOSING YOUR ACCOMMODATION
Planning a vacation? Finding your ideal destination is only part of the job; there's also the matter of where to stay. Your accommodation preference will define your vacation as much as your intended place to get a little R&R, so be careful about the choices you make. Types of Lodging Resorts & Hotels: If you just want to be pampered while on vacation, choose a full-service hotel or an all-inclusive resort. Don't assume a high cost; these accommodations run the gamut from budget-concious to luxury. If you don't want to have to choose every aspect of your vacation, choose an all-inclusive package deal. For a single price you will have your room, meals, and even activities, pre-planned! Inns: You'll enjoy a more pleasant stay from non-chain properties if you stick with those you learn about from "word of mouth" advertising, including online forums. Condominiums & Villas: These lodgings can be huge savers, but the other side of the coin you aren't spending will be the need to clean up after yourself (and cook, if you don't plan on going out).
