USI RV Park is near a variety of activities the whole family can enjoy. There are five municipal golf courses in Wichita to keep the golf enthusiast in the group entertained. Or, if you prefer catching a fish you can be proud of, then there are several good fishing spots in the Wichita Metro area. Most lakes in this area are stocked with one or more kinds of fish, including bass, crappie, bluegill, carp, flathead catfish, and of course, trout.
Visit the Chaplin Nature Center, just south of Wichita, and experience the fun of bird watching, as well as hiking trails and other programs.
Further exploration of the area will bring you to several captivating attractions. The Old Cowtown Museum is an open air, living history museum depicting life in a Kansas cattle town from 1865 to 1880. Highlights include historic home tours, working blacksmith, carpentry and newspaper shops, an 1880s farm, and a general store. You'll also be able to enjoy the numerous gardens at Botanica - The Wichita Gardens, which features more than 20 themed gardens including the Butterfly Garden, Shakespeare Garden, Rose and Wildflower Garden and the new award winning Sally Stone Sensory Garden.
