What is a Dog Park? It is a place to play, interact, bond, and train your dog off the leash. Dogs of all sizes need to run. If not given the opportunity to release energy, they will either give up and endure, or develop lots of bad habits! All over the country dog lovers are banding together! Their aim? To establish dog parks for their pups to romp, get the exercise they need, and have fun in areas where open space is becoming a scarce commodity. How many dogs do you know who have ever been off the leash except in the house! And in reality, a house is just a larger kennel. A dog park solves that problem. It is also a place to allow dogs to socialize with other dogs and play Young dogs need to learn social manners; to play nice... shy dogs need to build confidence. A dog park is a natural environment to a dog; you might say it puts him in contact "with the inner puppy," or "the inner wolf." There's a lot more to the dog park than a place you turn your dog loose. A dog park stimulates a dog's natural instincts, mind and body! "NO LEASHES ALLOWED INSIDE THE PARK".
