Peace River Campground . . . Where the Sun spends the Winter!
Peace River Campground, a family campground, offers 150 Acres on the Peace River with over 100 of those acres of wilderness camping for your enjoyment. You can make camp anywhere you like, including many places right on the beautiful Peace River's edge. While there are no utilities, picnic tables or other campground amenities in the wilderness area, you are only a short walk to our trappings of the 'civilized world. Because it is designed for use by the purist, only tents, including pop ups, are allowed.
No trailers, motorhomes or generators to spoil the experience. If you are a 'real' tent camping, wilderness person, you will love it here.
Our amenities and activities include pull-thru sites, hot showers, laundry, an 84-degree swimming pool, campground store, playground, game room, 
LP gas, fishing, hiking, fossil hunting, paint ball, bus trips, golf cart rentals and canoe rentals right next door! We also have planned activities for those who like to participate. Our typical weekend includes a Friday night movie in the Peace River Dancehall, breakfast specials, ice cream socials and Bingo! Bring the kids as they can play but if they win we have to pay an adult.
When you are getting ready fot your trip to Peace River Campground, be sure to pack the pets, kids and some extra loose change as you will just have to try a ride on George's Segway!
