Traveling through East Texas? Come and spend some time at our new KOA. Located in the Piney Woods of East Texas, our campground offers something for everyone. On the shores of Lake Sam Rayburn, the largest lake in Texas, the Brookeland / Lake Sam Rayburn KOA offers great fishing and boating opportunities. Also located on our campground is a private, stocked fishing lake exclusively for our campers, with a fishing dock.

Our KOA has spacious pull through and back in RV sites with full 50/30 amp service hookups. We have Kamping Kabins and Deluxe Kamping Kottages, complete with a fully furnished kitchenette and bath; there is something for everyone's taste.

While camping, the outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy swimming in the seasonal outdoor pool. Kids will love the new KOA Kids Playhouse and playground. You will want to try a canoe trip along scenic Mill Creek using one of our rental canoes or kayaks. If you are looking for a nice scenic walk, birding and photo opportunities or horseback riding, try one of our several nature trails. We have boarding for your horses as well, so bring them along. Fisherman can fish in our stocked fishpond or Lake Sam Rayburn, which is the home of many of the largest bass tournaments in the country. Our private pond is stocked with hybrid blue gill and catfish, which can also be found in Mill Creek, which flows along the campground.

We have a specialty store with RV supplies, groceries, ice, fishing supplies and a unique gift shop with everything from hot sauce and signature wine jellies to T-shirts, jackets and caps.

We welcome extended stay RVers and winter Texans as well as overnight visitors. Our campground is biker friendly and equipped with a Kamping Kitchen for rallies, get togethers, or if you just decide to cook a large meal for your group. Free Wireless Internet is available throughout the campground, including at our horse barn, so our "business kampers" can relax while tending to work issues.
