Pull into one of the friendliest RV parks in Kansas. WaKeeney/Hays KOA is located exactly halfway between Denver and Kansas City on the south side of I-70 at exit 127, WaKeeney, Kansas. If you are traveling our way, you'll enjoy our long level pull-thrus with grassy area on every site. Your pets are more than welcome in our park and each canine is given a special treat when you register.

We host ice cream socials in our country store in the summertime and from May thru September, early risers will enjoy homemade pancakes in our country kitchen. Enjoy our cool pool and hot spa from Memorial Day thru Labor Day. Pedal around the park in one of our pedal-go-carts or toss a game of horseshoes. We have a children's playground, 13 tent sites and 3 rental cabins. We provide FREE Wi-Fi and cable TV for your enjoyment. If you feel like sitting by a campfire tonight, we will deliver a mini-fire pit to your site.

While you are a guest at WaKeeney/Hays KOA, take a day trip to Cedar Bluffs State Park and Wildlife area. It has 7,500 acres of land and 6,800 acres of fishing on the Cedar Bluffs Reservoir where black bass, crappie, bluegills and catfish are plentiful. During hunting season, there are many public areas that produce abundant numbers of game. Spend a day visiting some of the unique shopping downtown. WaKeeney has an old fashioned soda fountain where you can get malts and sodas just like from the 1950s. During the Christmas season, enjoy the North Pole Christmas decor and brilliant lights from Thanksgiving Day to New Year's Eve Day. North of Exit 128 is the Kansas Veterans Memorial Cemetary with a replica of the Iwo Jima Flag Raising on the way to the cemetary. Take a short drive west on I-70 to Hays, Kansas to spend the day at the Sternberg Museum, Hays Aquatic Park or Boot Hill Cemetary. We hope you enjoy your stay with us!
