Christopher Run Campground sits beside beautiful Lake Anna, one of the finest fishing lakes in Virginia. We are conveniently located between Washington DC, Fredericksburg, Charlottesville and Richmond. The lake is 13,600 acres, with over 200 miles of shoreline. Lake Anna is home to Bass, weighing eight pounds or more! Here you can enjoy the water sports of your choice . . . power boating, sailing, skiing, jet skiing and swimming. We have a number of boat ramps with large parking areas for your boat trailer and we also offer watercraft rentals - canoes, v hulls, plastic pedal boats, pontoon pedal boats and hydro-bikes.

We are open from April 1st through October 31st and have 200 sites, as well as group facilities. Christopher Run Campground offers monthly and winter storage for those who want it. We have cabins that sleep up to six persons and deluxe cabins that sleep up to eight persons.

You can enjoy our planned activities all season long! We offer activities for the whole family. Holiday weekends offer special activities along with Karaoke, movie nights, Bingo, potluck dinners, hayrides, DJ dances, crafts, plus much more!

If you would rather design your own fun, try our watercraft rentals or bring your own boat - we have six boat ramps and a 50 wet slip marina with gas on the water. Of course, there are Striped Bass, Large-mouth Bass, Walleye, Crappie and other fish waiting for you to drop your line in the lake from our fishing pier.
