Harbor View Campground is located a few miles from the quaint little riverside town of Colonial Beach that's tucked away on the Northern Neck of Virginia along the banks of the Potomac River.
Harbor View Campground is a great get-away from all the hussle and bussle of everyday life. There is a large pool and a kiddie pool on the campground. There are two ponds if you feel like fishing. Two playgrounds, 4 horseshoe pits, a tennis court and a mini-golf court, which are some of the activities to keep you and the kids busy. A great place for walking and bike riding. Plenty of wide open spaces for the kids to run and have some fun. There are 144 shaded campsites that have water, electric, sewer and a concrete slab for the picnic table. The sites are large enough to
accommodate big rigs and RV Clubs are welcome. Overnight camping and on-site summer storage is available. Next to the campground there is a marina that provides boat slips to our guests on a first come first serve basis. Throughout the summer season we have Covered Dish Dinners and Ice Cream Socials for everyone.
Just minutes away from the campground you can find seafood galore up and down the Potomac River. Antique and flea markets can be found throughout the county. Chartered boats go out daily into the Potomac River and the Chesapeake Bay. You can tour the Ingleside Winery and taste test every day. For the history buffs Washington's Birthplace and Robert E. Lee's Birthplace are just down the road from the campground. The town of historical Fredericksburg is 30 minutes away and battlefields galore dot the area. You can find your very own sharks teeth and fossils along the Potomac River at low tide. The Berry Farm is located next to the Rappahannock River where you can pick your own fruits and vegetables or just go to see the farm animals and eat some ice cream with fresh berries on top.
